Network Marketing
2010 Update

"I have (finally!!) tendered my resignation from my full-time day-job of 16 years!"

A Challenging And Fulfilling Year

2010 has been a very busy year for me at my full-time day job. The same goes with whatever spare time I have after office hours, for building my website business online and offline.

Building my website offline has been both challenging and very fulfilling...

Although I didn't manage to build many new pages, my Content 2.0 pages have grown my site in many ways - in terms of number of pages, and many new content ideas (drawn from a lot of "long-tail" traffic).

Because my site was built with a network marketing intent, I have been able to convert many enquiries into customers, and then into members.

Throughout this past year, I have had the privilege of meeting many new customers who had joined my MLM team as members. I have lost count of the number of new members I've recruited! Although some of them only purchase the products for their own consumption, it is satisfaction enough for me to know that the products have helped them improve their health.

One of the greatest benefits that come with the success that SBI brings me is the opportunity to travel. This year alone I had the privilege to travel to more than ten countries in the world. (My boss thought that I was being overpaid for the amount of travel I made! I told him that they were all "sponsored travels" but what I didn't tell him was that my travels were sponsored by SBI!)

Even Weekends Are Busy

Building a business (whether online or offline) requires some hard work. I'm not a business woman, but having a passion for what I do and a positive attitude make things so much easier and fun. SBI does the rest.

Almost every weekend was spent doing something towards building my business:

Doing a house demo for my range of juice extractors, meeting a new customer, counseling a patient, training a new recruit, meeting a supplier, MLM meetings and trainings, giving a talk, "coaching" new fellow SBI'ers who joined my team, and the list goes on.

It isn't just business always. I have a soft heart for the underprivileged, especially children. On weekends that I don't "work", I spend time giving voluntary tuition to the needy children, and spending time in homes for the abandoned children. Sometimes helping out with street ministry, dishing out food to the street poor. These activities are important for me. They provide balance and completeness in a life that is already full.

I mentioned in my last update that I was taking up a course on nutritional studies. I spend my evenings studying and doing research. And when I'm not studying, I respond to e-mails from my website's visitors. All the while, my site keeps growing as I continue to work on the new ideas/requests.

Exciting Events in the Past Year

Some exciting events that happened since my last update:

Plans for 2011

As the year is coming to a close, I have already got my plans for 2011 in place. I am so excited with the prospects:

Although I did not build many new pages in 2010, my site has continued to grow. As I build my business online and offline and continue to create multiple sources of income, my efforts strengthen my business on the whole. It truly has been an enriching and rewarding year, beyond my wildest dreams.

All the above did not happen because of my own capability, nor was it by luck. It all happened because I am "found" on the www. Later, the Law of Attraction kicked in and things began to happen. People often ask me what my secrets are, I have no secrets. I only have SBI. ;)

Finally, I want to thank Dr Ken again, for SBI. And glory be to God for giving me the strength to walk this path. SBI has made a huge difference for me, my family, and for the people around me. Two thumbs up!
